Welcome to today's post, dedicated to my top five tea's this year!
Whilst I love loose tea and using a tea diffuser I usually have tea bags stocked up at home and work for a quick tea break! So here are some of my top tea recommendations all available on most highstreets;
Number one on my list is the Pukka Detox tea. I purchase mine from Tesco which retails at £2.49 for a box of 20. Pukka describe this tea's flavour, "With a splash of sweet aniseed and crisp fennel, feel your senses come alive with lush cardamom and licorice root" - no, not liquorish ha!! but licorice root contains anti-depressant compounds which we all can use during those winter months! I find the taste of this tea light and refreshing and not as over powering as other detox teas. I acquired a taste very quickly and most of all enjoy it! This is my go to tea at the start of every week because it makes me feel great. Sometimes I will have this in the evening but usually in the morning! A Great healthy kick!
Number two of my top teas is the Twinning's Ginger bread green tea. Again i purchased this tea from Tesco for £2.69 for a box of 20. However they often go on offer and are currently £2.00 till 22nd November 2016 so i will most likely be adding this to my basket this week. A huge fan already of the lemon and ginger tea, this is a really nice twist of that. The colours of the packaging and the images are quite cute, fun and easy on the eye which is always good. Twinning's say this product is "an entirely new take on traditional green tea" which i agree with entirely! They also have Salted Caramel, Cherry Bakewell and fudge melt green tea. I would recommend these to anyone new to green tea or maybe even looking for something more fun than the usual straight green tea!
Number
Three is
the Dr Stuart's Extraordinarily Good Teas: Skin Purify. This tea I keep
regularly stocked up and it is likely to remain that way. Like many people who
attend the gym often and get into a sweaty mess, it’s easy for your clothes to
rub and blemishes to appear. Even though I always shower immediately after a workout
and exfoliate, my upper back started to show blemishes around the same lines as
my sports bra. My top tips for this are, showering straight after a workout,
keeping hydrated and most definitely this tea! My personal experience is that
my skin has completely cleared up. A little more expensive than the first two
teas, i purchase this from Holland and Barret for £2.35 for a box of 15. Whilst
this tea is higher in price, i feel it is so worth it for the results!
Number Four is another Pukka tea, turmeric gold i have not purchased this tea as we
were provided with samples at work. I will however be buying this as i was pleasantly
surprised by the taste. I have found that Waitrose stock this as a new line at
the price of £2.49. Pukka recently launched a pick and mix campaign with a
mixture of new teas so I’m sure in time this will be more readily available in
more supermarkets soon. I recently had a bit of a cold and found this tea
really helped to soothe the sniffles! Pukka say "The elegance will leave
you feeling renewed as each cup lets you don turmeric’s shield." I
agree!
Number Five to round off my top teas
of the year is yet again a Pukka tea! I think I need to expand my tea horizons,
but sometimes you like what you like! Available from most supermarkets for
around £2.79 is the Supreme Match Green tea! This is my new "go to"
mean green tea! As Pukka say "The super hero green tea for when
superpowers run low." For those of you who have not yet tried matcha it’s increasingly
becoming more popular due to its high levels of antioxidants, known to boost
your metabolism and help to burn fat. It is already a new addition to most people’s
weight loss program. I’m not currently drinking this tea as regular as others
so i look forward to giving this tea more time and finding out longer term
results! Give it a try!
Thank
you for reading, feel free to add your comments below! Maybe you have been
using the Supreme matcha tea for a long enough time to see or feel differently
or perhaps you have the same great experience with Dr Stuart's Skin Purify tea!
